Morocco (officially the Kingdom of Morocco) is a country in the Maghreb region of North Africa. Morocco is a constitutional monarchy with an elected parliament. Morocco is one of only three countries (Spain and France) to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. Morocco has a population of over 33 million, and an area of 446,550 sq. km. Marrakesh, the regional capital, is a prefecture-level administrative unit of Morocco. Marrakesh is the most important of Morocco’s four former imperial cities (cities that were built by Moroccan Berber empires). Marrakesh has the largest traditional Berber market (souk) in Morocco, with some 18 souks selling wares ranging from traditional Berber carpets to modern consumer electronics.

Ouezzane Province

Also known as Dar Dmana, Ouezzane City is well known in Morocco and throughout the Islamic world by being a spiritual capital of Sufism.

Tétouan Province

Tétouan is situated about 60 km. east of Tangier and 40 km. south of the Spanish exclave of Ceuta (Sebta). Tetuan is situated in the middle of a belt of orchards that contain orange, almond, pomegranate and cypress trees. The Rif Mountains are nearby, as the city is located in the Martil Valley.
