Trinidad and Tobago (officially the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago) is a twin-island country off the northern edge of South America just off the coast of northeastern Venezuela and south of Grenada in the Lesser Antilles. The country covers an area of 5,128 sq. km. (1,980 sq. mi.). Trinidad is the larger of the two main islands, and there are numerous smaller landforms including: Chacachacare, Monos, Huevos, Gaspar Grande (or Gasparee), Little Tobago, and St. Giles Island.
